More Presentation Fundamentals On Preparation

Here are further presentation fundamentals of careful preparation;-

2. Know your audience - who are they and what are they expecting from an effective presentation. What are the circumstances for your presentation?

3. Know Your Topic. Once you have selected your topic you need to master it. If you haven't mastered you will not be able to master the audience. The primary source of information should be from your own experienced topped up by research as needed to fill in any gaps.

4. Determine how you will structure your speech. The basic structure is introduction, main body, conclusion. Within the main body of the speech the most effective structure is in the way people would normally think about your topic e.g geographical, chronological, problem - solution etc.

The rest of the presentation fundamentals will follow in my next post.
