There are a number of things which determine the success of our presentation. Getting the presentation fundamentals right will normally ensure that our presentation is well received by the audience and our purpose is achieved.
Presentation fundamentals start before we present by being well prepared and practised and the attitude we have towards giving the presentation. A more positive frame of mind will help both in the development of the presentation and giving of it. We need to be sure about the value of the presentation and know the content of it and agree with the message, otherwise we will not be in a confident state when we give the presentation. This will undermine the effectiveness of the presentationthat we deliver.
